The Deaf Society is normally open daily, Monday to Friday 10am - 2pm, but is currently closed due to the recent Earthquakes. The office and Hall can not be opened until access is allowed to the CBD 'Red Zone', and an engineer has checked the Building.

The DSC Hall is available from Saturdays through Thursdays. Maximum number  at an event must not exceed 170 people.

The Hall is NOT available for hire on FRIDAY evenings. Weekend Hire Rates can be found below. For hire rates during the week, please contact the Club Administrator.
Deaf Society members may hire the Hall at special rates - please enquire at the office.

Weekend Rates for Hall Hire (inc. Lounge and Kitchen)
Private Hire
Hire Fee (Minimum) - covers 6pm to midnight $260.00
Additional Hourly Rate for each hour after midnight $50.00
Refundable Bond $400.00

All fees include GST.

A $100 deposit is required with a completed booking form to reserve and confirm your event date.

Payment can be made by EFTPOS (Sorry no credit cards), Direct Credit or Cheque - to be made out to Deaf Society of Canterbury (Inc).
